About Pimlico Puffins

The Pimlico Puffins Swimming Club was founded in September 1981 and in 2024, we became a registered charity. . Pimlico Puffins is a swimming club for those who have disability to access and enjoy the water. All ages, size, shapes and characters are welcome to our club to enjoy a swim. Pimlico Puffins is affiliated to the Halliwick Association of Swimming Therapy.

What we do

Well, firstly we have fun! We aim to provide a safe and pleasant environment in which people with disabilities can swim. The pool is closed to the public during Puffins sessions so you can enjoy the pool in private.

The social aspect of the Club is just as important as the swimming. We pride ourselves on the friendly atmosphere of our Club and hope that you will make new friends.

Where we meet

We meet on Mondays at the Queen Mother Sports Centre, Vauxhall Bridge Road, Victoria SW1V 1EL, from 7.45pm and swim from 8.00 to 9.00pm. From 9.00 to 9.30pm, after getting changed, we gather for a Ribena and a biscuit for a well earned rest.
